On Saturday afternoon, Rowan students received an email detailing an assault at Holly Pointe Commons early Thursday morning. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 Thursday morning as a female student was fondled by someone she described as an “intoxicated short black male.”

This afternoon, following an incident at the Rowan Boulevard parking garage, students and faculty came together to discuss issues revolving around the Wellness Center and its handling of student mental health.
The impromptu meeting was held on the front steps of the Wellness Center. At approximately noon today, an incident involving a student occurred at the Rowan Boulevard parking garage, as confirmed by Rowan Public Safety.
A male student fell from the parking garage near the Barnes & Noble and is in critical condition at Cooper University Hospital, according to an email to the university community by Joe Cardona, the vice president for university relations. News broke on Thursday, December 5, of a Rowan student’s alleged fall from the parking garage on Rowan Boulevard. The news sent shockwaves across Rowan University, in a community already reeling from three suicide deaths throughout the semester.

This week Chad sits down with the man behind Every Whit Way’s music, Jayce Williams. A member of the band Sweet Pill, Jayce has been at the forefront of Glassboro’s music scene since first attending Rowan University, and is a co-founder of the wildly successful art collective known as 4333.
And later, the guys discuss what got them into music, what they’re currently listening to, and some of their guilty pleasures in music.
