My name is Alexander Heller and I’m a multimedia journalist freelancing in the greater New York and Philadelphia area. I am proficient in writing and producing multimedia pieces, along with writing in-depth stories for online distribution. My primary skills are data analysis and data visualization; embed reporting through social media; photography and videography; and podcasting.
I served as news editor for Rowan University’s newspaper, The Whit and within that time I co-created The Whit’s first news podcast, Every Whit Way while interning at Philadelphia Magazine where I had the opportunity to develop my real-world skills necessary in the field of multimedia journalism. My reporting has been seen or linked by Philadelphia Magazine, the New York Times, The Whit and others.
